We looked for some Lubbock icons that would not take us back
downtown and in keeping with my Religion icons of Albuquerque, we went to the
Lubbock LDS Temple.
The angel has a lightening rod coming out of his head!
My attempt at an artistic shot. Spring blossoms which included the angel and the stained glass window. Get it? Spring???
Kelly and Rocky
Chickens
Snap, who is 8 years old. He belongs to Karisa.
Taylor came home first and we discussed college options and
google earthed her campus choice in Denver. She and Kelly are planning a visit over spring break.
Cristina and Karisa came home next. Karisa has been
substitute teaching and had substituted at Cristina’s school. Cristina and I had planned to make some plum
cobbler so we did that. Taking it out of
the oven…it smelled so good!
Thorne came home and was launching his homemade parachutes
in the yard. Got a picture of him with
one in the entry way. He is Trevor’s
nephew from Boise who is living here for a while.
Karisa made Chicken Alfredo for dinner. So we had yummy
chicken and yummy plums for dinner.
Trevor answering emails from work...
After dinner, Trevor challenged Taylor to a game of
foosball. Then he was challenged by
Thorne, Karisa and Kelly. I believe he
lost only one game.
Fun Times!!
