Austin (day 4)

Monday – Mar 6 – Woke to partly cloudy skies and warm, humid air.  We drove over to Chrissy’s for breakfast. She cooked a delicious breakfast of eggs, warmed up tortillas and leftover bbq brisket from last night.

Neighbors Texas Bluebonnets:

I met one of Chrissy’s friends and talked to her while Jim and Chrissy ran to the store for some groceries.

We headed to Noble Sandwich Shop for lunch. I ordered the (PBLT sandwich – pork belly, lettuce and tomato) which was really tasty.  Chrissy had a Rueben and Jim had a Cuban.  They advertised free fresh air!

Then we went to one of our favorite sites in Austin.  We go to Half-Priced Books on almost every trip.  We always find books we need for the rest of the trip.

We went back to Chrissy’s and rested up. I took some photos of Chrissy's house inside and out.

Chrissy's house:

Chelsea

We walked to a nearby park and Jim, Chrissy, Ginny, Chelsea and I found one of Austin famous murals.  Lots of people and dogs out. The afternoon was warm and slightly windy. A real spring day!

We went back to Chrissy’s for dinner of stuffed pork chops, baked potatoes and salad. Doggies hoping for a treat!

After a busy, but fun day, we retired back to the RV.
