Kanab, UT to Holbrook, AZ

We woke up in Kanab, UT and decided to go take a look at the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument. We found out that most of the monument is only accessible by 4 wheel drive this time of year.  Also, some of the most beautiful sites are accessible by permit only, one of which is "The Wave".  It is some beautiful sandstone formations you can check out online.  Instead we took the southern route and saw the actual cliffs.

We crossed the Colorado River at Marble Canyon. Pretty cool.

We did a lot of driving down through Flagstaff, then over to Winslow, AZ.  We had to stop there and see the "Standing on the Corner" Park.  There were two statues of musicians but neither looks like Glenn Frey.  And a bright red "flat bed ford" was parked at the corner. Fun Fun.

So as exciting as this looks, there were a bunch of old foggies wandering around.  I must have been yelling at one to get out of my way....not really.
Flat bed ford. haha

Traveled on to Holbrook, which is another exciting little town.
