Shooting Match at Tombstone Livery Range

Feb 18 – Saturday – Shoot at Tombstone SASS range.  There was an 80% chance of rain when we left to shoot this morning.  We checked in and our posse had 12 shooters.  We had six stages of targets with each stage having ten pistol, ten rifle and 4 shotgun targets, more or less. So 6 x 24 = 104 targets. Jim shot the match clean; not a single miss!  I think I missed four, but Jim says two.  There was some wind but warmish. Not too bad. Didn’t start raining until we finished.  Shooting lasted from about 9 am to 1 pm.

Got back to the campground and they had a cancellation so we got upgraded to full hookups.  Good things, cause we needed the heater.
Raining now!!  and on and on and on. So we just stayed in.  We'll try again tomorrow to see more Tombstone and head over to New Mexico.
