Bryce Canyon NP to Kodachrome State Park to Kanab, UT

Woke up to 19 degrees and cold RV.  The cold beat up the batteries so much they just quit.  We dropped the RV in the campground and drove into Bryce Canyon City for a hot breakfast and a happy valentines day!

We decided to drive down to Kodachrome State Park and for a little less snow. No one else was there.  We took a short 1/2 mile hike.

We didn't realize it but the state park provides an excellent view of Bryce Canyon and the Pink Cliffs.  Our campground was at the top of this ridge.  Up in the snow...

So we drove back up to the National Park and drove along the ridge. Looking down we saw lots of hoodoos and snow.

At the ridge, we took another photo. See it warmed up some. Not so cold anymore.

Then we drove on to Kanab, UT. We are almost to AZ. So stopped for the night here.  We've been hanging out, walking around town, resting up, blogging, etc.  Kanab is also known as Little Hollywood.  Lots of old westerns were filmed here including Maverick, with Mel Gibson.  Having fun so far!
